Hello to all you fellow weight watchers out there. I know this is a popular subject, and just punching in those two words "weight watchers" in a search engine would pull up pages and pages of articles for review. And honestly, who has the time. But, I apparently do because I have been researching various sites for years. Now I don't know if I will be able to provide anything new for you but I am really not starting this blog for that reason.
I am here for free moral support. I am obsessed with my weight. I know that sounds awful but I am. I look in every mirror I pass and grimmace. (I even scan the windows of buildings as I walk past). I watch couples as they walk by and wonder if their size has an impact on their intimacy. I am constantly berating myself for being so shallow but I can't seem to stop the insanity. I have been brainwashed to believe if I lost my 50 pounds I am over weight that I will instantly be more successful in everything I do in life. Lame, I know. Now I did just lose 32 pounds and do you think that had any effect on me? Not the way it should have. Instead all my inner self had to say was "woopie, now you still have 50 to go). Now I realize as I type this you must be thinking, why would I want moral support from such a pessimist? This isn't support. I agree it doesn't sound like support does it? That is why I created this blog. I want to stop the insanity and I thought if I started a project to reach out to others who have been having the same horrible second-guessing- thoughts running through their heads, than maybe I would feel inspired and we could meet on a higher plane together. It would give me a reson to research positive things. Also I am hoping I can get some input from the average every day weight watcher on their special tips and motivational perks.
